I am a full-time working Korean mother of two young children.  I have always loved Korean food, but my mother did not know how to explain to me how to create these lovely dishes (a little bit of this, a little bit of that), so I did not learn how to cook when I was a kid.  There was a bit of language barrier as well, since I did not speak the Korean language fluently.

My love for cooking started after I became a mom (hence, the term ah-jumma, which is an endearing Korean term for a married woman with children).

Oftentimes, I would come home from work in a panic wondering, “what am I going to make for dinner?! I only have an hour to get some food on the table before the kids go crazy!”

I would watch Youtube videos and Google various dishes for inspiration and guidance, and slowly I have developed some short cuts and cost saving ways to bring my cooking time to under an hour while still tasting great!  I hope that you will find my recipes useful, time-saving, and delicious!

I'd love to hear from you!
